Just when it looked as though I spent my whole time making Flash games for people, an HTML website which I designed and built went live today. Voluntary Action Epping Forest (VAEF) is go! Oh, just remembered: it's got a little bit of Flash in it. Panic over.

If you've been here before you might have noticed that things look a little different this time around.

Hello and welcome! You're looking at a new richsalter.net, the product of numerous sea changes and far too many trudges back to the drawing board to recount, after I finally outgrew the compact little layout of the previous site about a year ago. It's more concise now, being roughly divided into two sections: work projects I've undertaken for clients, and little personal projects I've done for fun. Now go explore!

Dead Man's Shoes is a new British movie set for release on October 1st 2004. Thankfully, it's not a romantic comedy and doesn't star Hugh Grant, but it is the best film to come out of the UK since Shaun of the Dead, so obviously go and see it at all costs.

Here's something to whet your appetite.

Having an emotional sweat moment? Maybe a promotional minisite I've been working on for Sure Confidence could help, if a nice cup of tea and a biscuit doesn't... It features Jeremy Milnes (housewives' favourite from "Would Like to Meet" on the telly), who points at things, tells you about himself, and helps sort out your problems and boost your confidence.

[Update: it's not live any more as the promotion's expired, but you can read about it here.]
