2004 Penalty Shootout was live during the Euro 2004 tournament. It's a game of 3 parts for two players: player 1 issues a challenge to player 2, chooses where his penalty kicks against player 2 will go, and where he wants his goalkeeper to dive when player 2 shoots. Player 2 receives the challenge and does the same.

Once the challenge and response have been completed, the results are played through. If the game ends a draw then GoodLot's server steps in, picking random shot and save positions, and the game goes to sudden death!

2004 Penalty Shootout differed from other games I've made for GoodLot in that no money was taken from players, but was designed to encourage new players to sign up at GoodLot. All players were recorded on a scoreboard, and prizes were given to winners of the greatest number of games.
