Directed by Shane Meadows, "Dead Man's Shoes" was released in cinemas in Britain on 1st October 2004. A well-received revenge thriller, it could be described as a cross between "Get Carter" and "Taxi Driver". It's compelling, if sometimes uncomfortable viewing, but is well worth seeking out.

The Flash above is one of the mood pieces we created prior to building the site, and is intentionally disorientating and unnerving to reflect a particularly nasty drugs trip experienced by one of the film's characters. In the end, we didn't adapt or use this sequence so you'll only see it here. Feel free to use the stop button and go grab a paracetamol.
