ESTIC stands for "Essex, Southend and Thurrock Infrastructure Consortium", and their mission statement reads thus:

"Working together for a stronger, more effective, sustainable and independent voluntary and community infrastructure sector across Essex, Southend and Thurrock, enabling and supporting voluntary and community organisations and volunteers better."

Essentially ESTIC's purpose is to voice the interests of local groups and promote the voluntary and community sectors in the south Essex region.

The ESTIC website was designed at Partners by Design, who provided a clean look to aid legibility of some decidedly text-heavy content. I undertook the construction, which is fully CSS driven.
