Raspberry Ice are a catering and events management company based in Essex, UK. They approached me in May to design and build their website, providing a "dream" brief affording me total creative control. The only condition was that it had to be a Flash website and not overly difficult to update.

As a result, I designed the site to be visually striking but clean, easy to navigate, and complementary to the attractive food photography by Sean Pollock. There is also some mechanical variety between the sections, so the "Our Team" staff page has "bouncy" mugshots, while the credentials "fly" out of the site.

Under-the-bonnet I used XML extensively as a data source, and made site elements totally dynamic. For example, the navigation builds itself and responds, when interacted with, to data provided by external XML. The site's scrollbars automatically size and position themselves, and the credential animations know when to repeat and what to display.

Needless to say, I'm really proud of the final result.
