I've never made it a secret that I'm a huge fan of the works of the Japanese animation company Studio Ghibli and its two genius directors, Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata. So it was something of an honour to have been involved with the production of the UK website for official Ghibli theatrical and DVD releases, distribution of which is by Optimum Releasing.

The website is not designed to be a huge repository of information, but a simple introduction to Studio Ghibli, Miyazaki, Takahata and Optimum Releasing for the uninitiated. It also provides release dates of forthcoming titles, and a selection of movie stills to whet visitors' appetites.

Working again with Kaius I built the fully CSS website, design of which had to be approved by Studio Ghibli themselves. The site has been created to be easily updated when new releases are on the cards in 2006.
